Directors' Youth Scholarship Golf Outing 2019

About the Golf Outing

Funds raised at the Directors' Youth Scholarship Golf Outing supports the youth scholarship fund. This fund helps youth attend innovative and exciting programming which includes: Kids Golf Free at Studebaker Golf Course, After School and Summer programs at the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Charles Black Community Centers, VPA Youth Basketball, Nature Detectives Camp, Learn to Swim, and educational community events. Every program teaches youth different aspects of the City of South Bend's mission (Excellence, Accountability, Innovation, Inclusion, and Empowerment) while enabling the department to meet its goal of impacting Every Resident, Every Year.

What others are saying:

"As a special education teacher, the most challenging part of my job is to come up with something to engage our students and help them take ownership in pursuit of learning. The MADE Program's dedication has made an apparent difference in many of our students. MADE delivers powerful messages that are food for thought, motivating, encouraging, and re-affirming. Two students just recently graduated high school in December due in large part to the messages that came from MADE."
